Snowdrop's mother Polly describes her treatment journey:
"Snowdrop was diagnosed with an Orbital Rhabdomyosarcoma a month after she started school. Although this was obviously terrifying for us, we felt very fortunate that her type of Sarcoma is extremely treatable with 6 months of chemotherapy combined with Proton Beam Therapy.
Snowdrop showed immense bravery throughout her chemotherapy and bounced back everytime with a smile on her gorgeous face. Her little sister Posy has been her biggest support, spending days in hospital with her cheering her up and keeping us all smiling."
"Travelling to Jacksonville, Florida as a family after 4 months of treatment, was daunting, but ended up being a hugely positive experience, greatly helped by our grant to assist with living expenses.
"We are now back in the UK completing the last round of chemotherapy and looking forward to ringing the end of treatment bell on the ward!"
"Many thanks to BHT for their support. The last six months have been agonising as parents and financial support has really helped relieve some of the burden."
